A menu of posture exercises designed for your imbalances is the easiest and fastest way to restore your postural alignment and become pain free. The best menu in the world will have little or no effect on you if you only do it once a week. The only way the menu will have this positive effect on your body is if you do it daily. Completing your menu daily will give your body the needed stimulus for change and overcome old patterns and habits of movement.
Restoring and maintaining good postural alignment is vital if you want to live a pain free and active life. Doing a menu daily is the best way correct posture imbalances and eliminate pain and physical limitations. Once you're pain free, doing a daily menu will make sure you stay that way by maintaining your improved postural alignment. The reason why you develop knee, hip, or back pain is because your body has lost its postural balance and is standing and moving in an inefficient and compromised way. You can lose postural balance for many different reason's including: accidents and injuries, favoring one side of your body, slouching, inactivity, playing a sport, etc. Once postural balance is lost, your body is moving inefficiently all day long whether you're sitting working on your computer, going on a walk, or working out at the gym. Over time inefficient movement patterns cause pain, injury, and degenerative changes to your body's tissues. Completing your menu daily will give your body the needed stimulus for change and overcome old patterns and habits of movement. Once you have improved your posture enough that you're pain free and back to living a full life, the key to avoiding future injuries and pain is to continue to do your menu daily. A daily menu will maintain your postural balance and function and not allow your body to slip back to old patterns or new imbalances created by your lifestyle and activities. If you find your old pain coming back (or a new pain) even when you are doing your menu daily, it means your body has slipped back into postural imbalance and you need new or different stimulus. Getting a fresh posture evaluation and a new menu should get you back on the right track. As I talked about last month, variety is also a key to health and it's important to keep variety in your menus also. Even when you're feeling pain free, changing to a new menu every month is a great idea. Alternating between several different menus can also help you get needed variety.
